Trip to Nandi Hills(October 2, 2004)...

The clock was showing 12:00PM... 3 of us(me, kunal, vinay) were lazyin around on the sunday afternoon... listening to the soundtrack of hyderabad blues 2. It was jus like other sunday's until kunal said can we go somewhere out of bangalore... consensus on the nearest hillstation Nandi Hills...

Sarvesh n anaz refused to join so like the 'dil chahta hai ' gang(3 of us) we got ready... i picked up my camera n surely couldn'thave missed my new telephoto zoom lens... first stop was the petrol pump where i fed my GIANT(BULLET), it was hungry like always. reached bangalore central(mall)... picked up chips, chocolates and the most important Bacardi breezer ;)

we were off for nandi hills, 60kms from bangalore... i forgot to mention with the GIANT was the peppy Pulsar 180(anaz's bike).. riding in rotation, then came a 'TAKK' sound from my bike and i realized my speedometer stopped working ... stopped in between at few places to click some pictures n have bacardi... clicked photos at the road side, rail track.. the weather was very pleasant, and kunal couldn't resist to remove his helmet ... enjoying the ride... he possibly sang everything from john denver to enrique(his gf favourite)..

Then came the board showing nandi hills 24kms, and then a sudden left to take. as expected kunal couldn't manage the Bullet.. we would have gone down with the bike as there was sand on the road and kunal possibly did everything to ensure we had a nice fall... thank god we escaped that... then as the most experienced bulletier(amongst the 3 of us).. i took the charge of it..

Then started the 8 km uphill ride... it was a very pleasant ride and some very sharp turns.. 1478mts above sea level, we could finally breathe some fresh air, visited the Yoga Nandishvara Temple.. clicked a couple of pictures, no pretty female around so couldn't do justice to my zoom lens :) ahahha.. started back for bangalore at 6:30 reached Yehlanka and had dinner at a dhaba finished the 3 brezzers that were waiting to touch our lips....reached home around 8

Nobody can take away the one thing I depend on - enjoying the music.
